Reflection
“Pax quae exsuperat intellectum nolo volo, pacem facit intellectus.“

Reflect. Have you ever loved so much that the thought of letting go feels like the gel from an ice pack is painstakingly descending down your spine? While your heart is pumping warning signs—beating “ it is time.” Time to shed the scales you’ve outgrown and live—time to release the dove, please learn to forgive. Love them enough to know you cannot win this tug of war because holding on leads to fiery rants and tears, sighs laced with frustration that gives you a euphoric high warped with anticipation—pacing, debating questioning will we outlive this rapturous struggle of a fight, can we like Daft Punk try One More Time?

Yes they say love transcends all time—true love with resurface and last forever but what happens when in certain cases forever is planted in our minds and burns in our hearts like the ignited flame plaguing Plato’s Cave? What do we truly see when in love? Is it a biochemical transformation of tampering hormonal regulations in the fifth ventricle of our heart we term our mind? The neurochemicals that momentarily give us the power to soar as Icarus gloriously did relishing the unseen freedom to feel passionate bliss. But when reality hits and the fleeting momentous feeling is gone, does it destroy that inherent bond?

What has been has passed yet does not have to die—use your spiritual connection and keep it alive. Let your third eye continue to coax who you have been, let your heart compartmentalize your blissful moments together of true Zen and stop worrying about the why and the when of an uncontrollable factor in a beautiful life. Let us learn to take a step into an unknown to behold a new sensation experienced by all ten fingers and ten toes. Leave the thought of malice and caprice behind and look up. Look up and let the majestic trees, the flirting breeze, and the melodic tune and let silent peace dwell. For then you will see that the love will never leave but will seasonally resurrect with thee.
